Accessibility
Since June 2025 the European Accessibility Act applies to many websites, shops and apps that serve consumers in the EU. Beyond the law, accessible sites work better for everyone: on phones, in sunlight, with a broken mouse, for older customers. We audit, fix and design so you meet WCAG 2.2 and can prove it.
What you get
- An audit against WCAG 2.2 level AA with every finding explained and prioritised
- Fixes in code, content and design, or a work plan for your team
- An accessibility statement in the format the law expects
- Design reviews for new work, so problems are not built in
- Re-tests after changes, with a report you can hand to a customer or an authority
Who the law applies to
The European Accessibility Act covers e-commerce, banking, transport, telecoms, e-books and more, with exceptions for micro-enterprises in some cases. National laws add public bodies. If you are unsure whether it applies to you, the first conversation is free and we will tell you plainly.
How we test
Automated tools find about a third of the problems. We run them, then test by hand: keyboard only, screen readers, zoom to 400 percent, colour-blindness simulation, reduced motion. Where it matters, we bring in testers who rely on assistive technology every day.
Questions we hear often
Can an existing site be made accessible without a rebuild?
Usually yes. Most issues are contrast, focus states, labels, headings and alternative text. Some page builders make it harder; ours was built with accessibility in mind.
What does a WCAG audit cost?
It depends on the number of templates and flows. A company website is a fixed, modest price; a shop with checkout more. See the pricing page.
Do you certify?
We issue a test report and an accessibility statement. Formal certification schemes vary by country; we tell you which ones exist for yours.
