Mobile & Progressive Web Apps

Apps for people who are not at a desk: technicians, drivers, sales reps, customers on the move. They work offline, use the camera and location, and install from a link or from the app stores, depending on what your users need.

What you get

  • Progressive web apps that install from the browser, work offline and update themselves, with no store approval
  • Native or cross-platform apps for the App Store and Google Play when the device features or the store presence require it
  • Offline first: work continues without signal and syncs when it returns
  • Camera, barcode and QR scanning, GPS, signatures, push notifications
  • The same backend as your web application or portal, so data exists once
  • Store publishing, versioning and monitoring handled by us

Web app or store app?

Most business apps do not need the app stores. A progressive web app is faster to build, costs less to maintain, and reaches every phone from a link. We recommend a native app when you need deep device integration, background processing or a consumer-facing store presence. We explain the trade-off in the first conversation and put it in the quote.

Built for gloves and sunlight

Field apps are used in conditions a desk never sees: bright light, cold hands, bad signal, a hurry. We design large targets, clear states and forgiving flows, and test on the actual devices your people carry.

Questions we hear often

Can the app work with our existing systems?

Yes. Apps talk to the same backend as your other tools; where a system has no API we build a secure bridge.

Who owns the app store accounts?

You do. We publish under your developer accounts and document the process so it is not tied to us.

What does maintenance involve?

Operating systems and stores change every year. A support retainer covers updates, compatibility testing and small improvements so the app keeps working.

Your people are not at a desk?
