Privacy-First Analytics

Know what happens on your site without following people around the web. We set up analytics that respects visitors and EU law, hosted in the EU, configured so you learn what matters: which pages work, where people leave, what a lead costs, without a wall of consent banners in the way.

What you get

  • Matomo or a comparable privacy-first tool, hosted in the EU, on our servers or yours
  • Goals and events defined around your business: enquiries, quotes, downloads, calls, purchases
  • Consent handled correctly: what needs consent asks for it, what does not, does not
  • Dashboards per audience, and a monthly summary in plain language
  • Campaign tracking that works without third-party cookies
  • Clean data: bots, staff and test traffic filtered out

Why not just Google Analytics

For many EU companies it is a legal grey zone, it needs consent most visitors refuse, and the data it collects goes far beyond what you need. Privacy-first tools measure your site, not your visitors' lives, and give most companies everything they need with far less friction. Where Google tools are required for advertising, we set them up properly, with consent, alongside.

Numbers that lead to decisions

Analytics is only useful if someone reads it and does something. Our monthly summary picks the three things that changed and what they suggest doing. The dashboard is there for the detail; the summary is there for the decision.

Questions we hear often

Is Matomo GDPR compliant?

It can be configured to run without consent for basic statistics in most EU countries, and fully compliant with consent for more. We document the setup for your data protection officer.

Can we keep our history from Google Analytics?

Exports of the old data can be kept for reference. Going forward, the new tool becomes the source of truth; we run both in parallel for a month to compare.

Does it slow the site down?

No. The tracking script is small and served from the EU; we measure the impact before and after.
