Performance
Slow sites lose visitors, rankings and sales, and most sites are slower than their owners think because they test on a fast office connection. We measure on real phones and real networks, fix what matters most first, and keep the site fast as it grows.
What you get
- A measurement on real devices and networks, not just a lab score
- Fixes in order of impact: images, caching, fonts, scripts, third-party tags, server response
- Core Web Vitals within the ranges search engines reward, and monitored afterwards
- Image and video optimisation set up to run automatically for new uploads
- A budget for scripts and tags, so marketing tools do not slowly eat the gains
- A report before and after, in numbers your marketing team can use
Where speed is lost
Rarely in one place. An oversized hero image, a slider library nobody uses, six tracking tags, fonts loaded from three providers, a plugin that queries the database on every visit. We find each, decide what to keep, and remove or defer the rest. Our own page platform loads only what a page uses, which is why sites built on it start fast.
Fast stays fast only if watched
A site that is fast at launch is slow a year later if nobody watches. Performance monitoring is part of every care plan, with a monthly check and a fix when a number drifts.
Questions we hear often
Will you break anything by optimising?
We change one thing at a time on staging, measure, and check the pages by eye. Optimisation done blindly with a plugin is what usually breaks sites.
Do we need a CDN?
For international audiences and media-heavy sites, yes, and we set it up. For a national company site on good EU hosting, often not.
Can you speed up a site you did not build?
Yes. We start with the measurement and a list of what we found, and you decide how far to go.
